The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is proud to announce that the West Region’s Golden Gate Conference has released their schedule for the upcoming 2018 season.
“The Golden Gate Conference is excited to welcome three new teams to our ranks that will expand our geography and give us more diversity of play,” Sacramento Gold FC owner John Nunan commented. “Each new team brings strong leadership and excellent players. We expect instant impact on our overall competitive level. This is the largest expansion in the history of the conference. We expect one of our teams to be at least a national semifinalist this year.”
Conference play begins on Saturday, March 10th and ends on Saturday, June 30th. Each club plays 14 matches, seven home and seven away.
The top three teams in the Golden Gate Conference will qualify for the playoffs. They will be joined by three teams from the Southwest Conference and two teams from the Northwest Conference.
