The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is proud to announce that the West Region’s Southwest Conference has released their schedule for the upcoming 2018 season.
Regular season play in the Southwest Conference begins on Saturday, March 17th and ends on Sunday, June 24th. Each club plays 12 matches, six home and six away.
"We look forward to a very competitive and exciting 2018 season filled with diehard fans," NPSL Board Member and Temecula FC President/Owner Brandon Jantz commented.
Three teams from the Southwest Conference will qualify for the playoffs. The first and second place teams automatically advance, while the winner of a wild card match between third place (host) and fourth place will take the final playoff spot.
"The National Premier Soccer League is a great platform to showcase all the great talent in Southern California," Southwest Conference Liaison and Riverside Coras President/Owner Rob Lopez added.
The West Region playoffs will include three teams from the Southwest Conference, three teams from the Golden Gate Conference, and two teams from the Northwest Conference. Seeds #1-8 will be determined by points per game (PPG) with #1 hosting #8, #2 hosting #7, #3 hosting #6, and #4 vs. #5.
