
1-1 Draw for Demize NPSL and Tulsa Athletic

Tulsa Athletic entered Springfield, Missouri on Saturday, June 15 sitting at the top of the table as
they took on Demize NPSL. Guilherme Ferreira and Chris Hanlon had to make a few
adjustments to their lineup following injuries suffered against Club Atletico Saint Louis.
Tulsa opened up the scoring as Adam Habib found the back of the net in the 33rd minute. It was
his second goal of the season.
Demize came fighting back with multiple scoring opportunities early in the second half. The
hosts were able to equalize in the 66th minute as Gustavo Nascimento tallied his third goal on a
powerful shot assisted by Sokho de Souza.
The remainder of the game was very balanced as both teams had threatening opportunities on
multiple occasions. The final score remained 1-1 as the final whistle blew.
With all Heartland Conference teams being in action on Saturday night, each of the three
matches ended in 1-1 draws. Tulsa Athletic remain unbeaten with 15 points in seven games as
Demize NPSL sit with nine points in six games. The Demize now prepare to hit the road for the
final four games of their regular season as they take on Ozark FC on Saturday, June 22.
