NPSL Announces Schedule for U-19 Pilot

The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is proud to announce the schedule for the U-19
pilot.

“It’s tremendous to have the NPSL invest in something that has so much potential, and that’s
directed at local players to help them progress through to their senior teams,” NPSL Chairman
Kenny Farrell said. “With the roster rules allowing three overage players on each squad, the
NPSL U-19 pilot really differentiates itself from other programs. This U-19 pilot shows the
NPSL’s commitment to player development by providing a new platform that will allow the best players to develop and move on to the top professional leagues.”

The pilot will begin on August 28 th and conclude on November 8 th . Each team will play a total of
eight games: four home and four away.

The teams participating in the U-19 pilot include AFC Mobile, New Orleans Jesters, Pensacola
FC, Port City FC, and Southern States SC.

“The launch of the U-19 pilot is very exciting for us,” NPSL Managing Director Cindy Spera
said. “This product was designed to bridge the gap for players that have outgrown youth soccer,
and who want to prepare for the next level – the NPSL level.  It is not a youth league product.
The players and coaches involved understand the goals and are anxious to get back onto the field
in competitive games.”
