
Fort Worth Vaqueros Fall 2-0 to Coyotes FC

Vaqueros traveled to Temple, TX to take on Coyotes FC in their season opener. This was also the home opener for Coyotes FC.
Vaqueros started the game with the following XI: Chris Edwards in goal, Joseph Cervantes and Marx Mora as the center backs, Carlos Rodriguez as left back, and Markee Dobard as right back.
In the middle the Vaqueros started Darren Mitchell, Alek Cosio, and Heriberto Diaz. They started Bobby Edet, Angel Lopez, and Allyson Angieski in attacking positions.
In the 37th minute Dobard went out with an injury and Edward Olvera entered the game. Vaqueros went down 1-0 in the 44th minute. Vaqueros went into halftime down by one.
For the second half, McKinley Smith entered the game for Angel Lopez. Vaqueros went down 2-0 to Temple by another goal in the 54th minute. In the 75th minute Cosio and Mitchell left the game and were replaced by Denis Ushakov and Juan Salas.
Remaining substitutes were Flavio Bombonato and Alejandro Giraldo. The Vaqueros were missing two key players with Brandon Eaton and Nicolas Oliveros.
The Vaqueros take on FC Brownsville on May 15th at Martin Field at 7:30pm in their 2021 home opener.
