
3-3 Draw for FC Arizona and Las Vegas Legends

FC Arizona opened their 2022 NPSL season on Saturday with a home game against the Las Vegas Legends at the new Legacy Sports Bell Bank Park in the Lerner and Rowe Stadium.
This was Head Coach Andy Williams’ first year coaching with FC Arizona and in the NPSL.
FC Arizona scored first with a goal in the eighth minute by Chris Ramsell. He was assisted by Brayan Ramirez. Las Vegas answered with a goal in the 14th minute by Esequiel Colonel. It was an intense game with the second goal by FC Arizona coming just two minutes before halftime. Ramirez scored that goal and was assisted by Ramsell.
Returning from the half, Colonel scored on a penalty kick in the 49th minute. Las Vegas would score again in the 51st minute thanks to Elijah Rice.
FC Arizona rebounded with a goal in the 70th minute by Tarek Salama. It was an intense game down to the final seconds. The game ended in a tie: FC Arizona 3, Las Vegas Legends 3.
