NPSL Announces Conference Alignment Ahead of 2023 Season

The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) has re-aligned its conferences ahead of the 2023 season. The updates are as follows:

  • The Keystone Conference is splitting in two for the 2023 season. These conferences will be known as “Keystone East” and “Keystone West”.
  • Teams from the Rust Belt Conference and Great Lakes Conference will be realigned under the Great Lakes Conference name
  • A new conference will be joining the Midwest Region, known as the “Gateway Conference”.
  • The Southeast Conference will move from the East Region to the South Region, and the Heartland Conference will move from the South Region to the Midwest Region.
  • Teams moving conferences for 2023:
    • Club Atletico Saint Louis: from Heartland Conference to Gateway Conference
    • FC Milwaukee Torrent: from Great Lakes Conference to Gateway Conference
    • First State FC: from Mid-Atlantic Conference Keystone East Conference
    • Sunflower State FC: from Heartland Conference to Gateway Conference
  • New members for 2023 are being placed in the following conferences:
    • Gateway Conference:
      • Des Moines United FC
      • Ehtar Belleville FC
      • Iowa Raptors FC
    • Keystone East Conference:
      • Philadelphia Union DS
    • Lone Star Conference:
      • West Texas FC
    • Mid-Atlantic Conference:
      • Annapolis Blues FC
      • Greenville United
      • Virginia Dream FC
    • Southeast Conference:
      • 865 Alliance
      • Charlottetowne Hops FC
    • Southwest Conference:
      • California Odyssey SC
