Kingston Stockade FC Defeats Hartford City FC 3-0

By Kingston Stockade FC

Daniel D’Ippolito recorded his second hat trick in three matches this season to fire Stockade FC past previously unbeaten Hartford City FC on Saturday night.

Just 11 minutes in, D’Ippolito would put Stockade in front.

In the 25th minute, Stockade would strike again.  Hugo Guerra would send a dangerous ball into the box that D’Ippolito would find and fire home for his brace.

In the 56th minute, D’Ippolito would complete his hat trick with a moment of genius.  A long ball from Dylan McDermott was flicked on by D’Ippolito to do all the work himself, run onto it, cut to his left foot, and fire past the keeper from 18 yards out.

D’Ippolito’s second hat trick of the year puts him at seven goals for the season in only three matches played.

Stockade FC’s backline would close out the final minutes of the night and maintain the shutout. Liam Salmon would make his debut as part of an outstanding Stockade backline featuring McDermott, Alberto Molina, Mario Bunjaj, and Joey Dolan.

Stockade FC moved to 4-0-0 on the year and now sits alone at the top of the conference standings.

On Wednesday, June 14, Kingston Stockade FC returns to NPSL action with a trip to Syracuse FC.  Stockade FC will return to Tenney Stadium on June 17 for a critical matchup with Valeo FC.
