Kingston Stockade FC Defeats Valeo FC in North Atlantic Conference Action

By Kingston Stockade FC

Daniel D’Ippolito, Lucas Fecci, and Petro Klishch all scored second- half goals in a 5-0 victory over Valeo FC on Saturday night at Tenney Stadium.

After a hotly contested first half drew to a close at 0-0, the second half would light the fireworks.

In the 50th minute, D’Ippolito would get the party started.  D’Ippolito would collect Jared Juleau’s pass into the middle of the box, turn, and slot his opener past the Valeo keeper.

D’Ippolito wasn’t done.  In the 68th minute, he collected a loose ball in the Valeo defense area, burned his defender, and fired a rocket into the side of the net from 25 yards out.  The brace on the night pushes D’Ippoloto’s season tally to an impressive 10 goals.

Just three minutes later, Stockade would strike again.  This time through Petro Klishch who entered the match as an early sub for the injured Hugo Guerra.  Klishch would pick off an errant pass and drive to goal, beating the keeper to the far side to make it 3-0.

The final 15 minutes belonged to Lucas Fecci.  The former Oneonta striker made his debut in grand fashion with a 77th minute beauty.  Klishch would break free and lay off to Fecci on his left.  Fecci would weave inside the edge of the box and unleash a lovely bending strike into the side netting for Stockade’s fourth goal.

Fecci would complete his brace in the 90th minute as another Valeo turnover would turn into a Stockade FC attack.  Fecci would pick off a pass and send Owen Siegel into space on a give-and-go that would ultimately find Fecci wide open in the box to seal the fifth goal of the night.

Stockade FC moves to 5-0-1 and 16 points on the season atop the North Atlantic Conference standings.  Stockade will return to action next Sunday, June 25 with a pivotal visit to Hartford City FC.  The club will return to Tenney Stadium in Poughkeepsie on Wednesday, June 28th as Valeo FC returns to Marist College for the third matchup of the season.
