Kingston Stockade FC Defeats Valeo FC 3-1 in North Atlantic Conference Action
By Kingston Stockade FC
Goals from Owen Siegel, Jacob Schulman, and Jared Juleau led Stockade FC to another three points at Tenney Stadium on Wednesday night.
Siegel opened the scoring in the first half when Albion Bacaj sent in a beautiful pass over the top. Siegel would do the rest and chip the oncoming goalkeeper for a 1-0 lead in the 34th minute.
After the halftime break, Jamal Lis-Simmons called in some more firepower. Jared Juleau and Jacob Schulman entered the match along with Andrea Nguionza.
In the 53rd minute, Schulman would be the man to double the lead. Off a set piece from 24 yards away, Schulman would curl the perfect ball over the wall and into the lower corner of the net.
Not to be outdone, Juleau would get his chance from nearly the identical spot. Just eight minutes later, Juleau would spin one off his left foot, around the wall, and into the same lower corner to make it 3-0.
Valeo would pull one back late through their own stunner of a free kick. Stockade goalkeeper James Cintron was stellar on the night in his starting debut and unlucky to not secure the shutout.
Stockade FC moves to 6-0-2 and returns home to Tenney Stadium on Saturday, July 1 as the New York Shockers visit Poughkeepsie.
