Apotheos FC Announces Silverbacks Park as Home Stadium for 2024 Season

By Apotheos FC

Atlanta’s first soccer-specific stadium, Silverbacks Park, has been announced as the new home of Apotheos FC.  Today’s announcement comes off the heels of a record-breaking season where Apotheos FC won the NPSL Southeast Conference Championship and NPSL South Region Championship before losing in penalty kicks to Tulsa Athletic in the NPSL National Championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Apotheos FC makes the move to Silverbacks Park as part of the club’s ambitious plans to continue to grow in one of the hottest soccer markets in America.

Apotheos FC Co-Owner Anthony Catalano added his thoughts on today’s announcement.

“As a co-owner of Apotheos FC, I am extremely excited for the move into Silverbacks Park and to the next chapter in our club’s history,” Catalano said. “Silverbacks Park is a highly regarded soccer venue that is widely known right here in the greater Atlanta soccer community but also across the country.  This is a massive step for our club’s growth, and we are excited to kick off our 2024 campaign in our new home.”

2024 season seats have gone on sale as part of today’s announcement.  Supporters can now reserve season seats for only $100 for adults and $80 for youth, which includes admission to all home games at Silverbacks Park, a free jersey, “Bring A Friend” tickets, and other great benefits.  Please visit www.apotheosfc.com to learn more about Apotheos FC or to reserve your season seats.

Silverbacks Park is a sports complex in Dekalb County, just outside Atlanta, that includes a 5,000-seat soccer-specific stadium built in 2006.  Silverbacks Park has hosted hundreds of professional soccer and rugby events, including the 2013 NASL Soccer Bowl where over 7,000 fans watched the Atlanta Silverbacks play the New York Cosmos.  In 2007, Reggie Bush and David Beckham filmed a commercial for adidas at the park.

Silverbacks Park President Bill Lynch shared his excitement about the announcement.

“We are thrilled to welcome Apotheos FC to Silverbacks Park,” Lynch said. “Apotheos FC’s decision to make Silverbacks Park their home speaks volumes about the quality of our facilities and the incredible soccer culture we have cultivated here.  We believe this partnership will not only benefit both parties but also contribute to the growth and success of soccer in our community.  We look forward to hosting Apotheos FC’s matches and are excited to witness the extraordinary moments that will unfold on our pitch.”
