3-3 Draw for CF10 Houston FC and Denton Diablos FC

A back-and-forth match between hosts CF10 Houston FC and the visiting Denton Diablos FC on June 6 ended in a 3-3 draw. 

Evan Lupo opened the scoring in the 20th minute with an assist from Maycol Reyes, giving Denton the 1-0 lead.  Cooper Tea would double that lead in the 54th minute with Thato Meko earning the assist.  

CF10 would cut the lead in half thanks to a penalty kick goal from Aidan Morrison in the 67th minute.  Denton would respond seven minutes later as Meko registered a goal of his own to give Denton a 3-1 lead.

The goalscoring was not over as CF10 finished the match with two late goals.   Daniel Castro scored in the 83rd minute followed by another Morrison penalty kick goal just four minutes later.

This brought the scoring to an end as the match ended as a 3-3 draw, giving each team one valuable point in the Lone Star Conference standings.    

CF10 Houston FC will face FC Brownsville on June 10 at Brownsville Sports Park, while Denton Diablos FC faces Laredo Heat SC at TWU on June 15.
