Rochester NY FC Academy Defeats Flower City Union 2-1

RNY FC relied on another two-goal performance from Ely Edibe to win the Rochester derby.  

Rochester had more than enough chances and possession to put the game away, but Flower City was always a threat for a last-minute goal.  Despite Rochester having some clear-cut chances and Flower City continuing to play direct, the match ended 2-1 in favor of Rochester for a much-deserved three points.

Rochester NY FC Academy moves into first place based on a points per game (PPG) ranking.  They take on Niagara 1812 on Saturday at home at 4:00 pm.
