Bristol Rhythm AFC Defeats Burlington United FC 5-0

Bristol Rhythm AFC continued their impressive start to the 2026 season with a dominant 5-0 victory over Burlington United FC on Saturday night at Gene Malcolm Stadium.

The Rhythm wasted little time getting on the scoreboard. In the 10th minute, Patrick Enchill opened the scoring after being set up by Elliot Edwards, giving the home side an early 1-0 advantage.

Just fifteen minutes later, Bristol doubled its lead. Off a perfectly delivered corner kick from Elliot
Edwards, Koke Gracia rose above the defense and powered a header into the back of the net to make it 2-0.

The Rhythm struck again in the 30th minute when Hugo Martinez delivered a brilliant over-the-top pass that found Patrick Enchill in stride. Enchill calmly finished his second goal of the night and third of the season, extending the lead to 3-0.

Five minutes later, Enchill was brought down inside the penalty area, earning Bristol a spot kick. Elliot Edwards stepped up and buried the penalty into the bottom-right corner, sending the Rhythm into halftime with a commanding 4-0 lead.

The second half saw Bristol continue to create chances, but Burlington’s goalkeeper made several
outstanding saves to keep the score line from growing even larger.

The final goal came in the 77th minute when Davis Kendall threaded a quality pass through the defense to Daniel Ojeda, who finished confidently to cap off another explosive attacking performance from the Rhythm.

Defensively, Bristol was once again outstanding. Goalkeepers Noe Delmotte and Florian Quast
combined for another clean sheet as the Rhythm remain perfect defensively, having not conceded a goal all season. The back line continued its stellar form, frustrating Burlington throughout the evening and limiting quality opportunities.

With the victory, Bristol Rhythm AFC remains atop the conference table and carries momentum into a massive midweek showdown. After a few days of recovery, the Rhythm will return home on Wednesday night to face 865 Alliance in a crucial conference matchup at Gene Malcolm Stadium.
