Greater Lowell NPSL FC Extends Winning Streak

On a cold June night in Tyngsborough, MA, Greater Lowell managed a 2-1 win over their visiting opponents, TSF FC. It was a fierce back-and-forth battle that resulted in a plethora of yellow cards and one ejection.

Johnata Batista put Greater Lowell ahead in the 24th minute of play with an assist from Daniel Munch. Then Stefano Gomes picked up a yellow card at the 52nd minute and Errol Reid got his at the 66th minute mark.

At the 71st minute Reid picked up a second yellow, which left Greater Lowell with a 10-man squad. Luis Mendoza of TSF also picked up a yellow card in the 71st minute and his team mate Ritchie Barry collected one in the 75th minute. Then Greater Lowell’s Cleon Pryce got his warning at the 81st minute.

But at the 84th minute, Lowell got farther ahead with a second assist from Munch and a goal from Jamar Campion-Hinds.

TSF was relentless and Almir Batista scored at the 90th minute.

Despite an added five minutes of stoppage time, Greater Lowell held out and extended their winning streak to three with a 2-1 defeat of TSF FC.
