Spokane SC Shadow Defeats PDX FC 4-1

The First Team moved closer to clinching not only a playoff spot, but the top seed and home game in the National Premier League Northwest. A 4-1 victory tonight against PDX FC of Portland combined with FCM Portland’s 4-1 win over visiting Kitsap put the Shadow, with three games remaining, just three points away from grabbing the regular season title (based on head-to-head as FCM Portland can match 22 points).

Tonight was the night for Karl Muelheims.

A past star with the team, Muelheims has spent the past two years working on a nursing degree. Having returned home to a job, the longtime Shadow youth product re-joined the squad this year and finally found his scoring touch with a breakout night, registering two goals and an assist.
