BEACHES FC REBRANDS AS PALM BEACH UNITED
The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is proud to announce that Beaches FC has rebranded as Palm Beach United. The club will continue to compete in the South Region’s Sunshine Conference.
“Palm Beach United is a brand that will be identified collectively in the soccer community in Palm Beach County,” Palm Beach United General Manager Eric Arbuzow commented. “We are the only organization that is creating a pathway from our US Development Academy through our NPSL team in Palm Beach County. The Development Academy works at the grassroots level in key areas of the county and as we continue to partner with more youth clubs, we feel those local communities will also grow support for the NPSL team. We are expecting a large fan base and valuable support from our sponsors and new fans.”
Peter Fuller was appointed the first head coach of Palm Beach United’s NPSL team on January 26, 2018. Fuller brings 32 years of coaching experience to the program. He has been named NAIA National Coach of the Year three times, Conference Coach of the Year 10 times, and Regional Coach of the Year five times. A member of the NAIA Hall of Fame, Fuller is the only man in league history to coach two college teams, Belhaven University and the University of Mobile, to national championships. He also served as reserve team coach, first team assistant coach, and interim head coach for Major League Soccer’s New England Revolution.
Palm Beach United will play their home matches at the prestigious Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Beaches FC was founded in 2016 to create an amateur team for people to support in the summer, the typical months youth players are not competing.
