GREAT LAKES CONFERENCE ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE RELEASE

The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is proud to announce that the Midwest Region’s Great Lakes Conference has released their schedule for the upcoming 2018 season.

“The Great Lakes has created something special on the American soccer landscape with well- supported community clubs, growing rivalries, and exciting action on the pitch,” Detroit City FC co-owner Sean Mann commented. “This upcoming season promises to build on the excitement from 2017.”

Conference play begins on Saturday, May 5th and ends on Saturday, July 7th.  Each club plays 12 matches, six home and six away.  The total number of conference matches is 42.

With the same playoff format as the 2017 season, the conference’s top two teams move on to the regional playoffs. The top two conference winners in the Midwest Region receive a bye to the regional semifinals.
