The heat proved to be both the Seacoast United Phantoms’ and Brooklyn Italians’ biggest opponent at today’s match. There was continuous back-and-forth action within the first half, with both teams letting few shots on net.

However, after halftime the Brooklyn Italians came back with the stronger stride, securing their first goal in the 70th minute. The Phantoms kept the pressure, but Brooklyn was able to come back with a second goal with only five minutes left to play, finalizing their 2-0 win.

The Seacoast United Phantoms NPSL squad is scheduled to play at home again July 5th in Amesbury, MA.
