SEACOAST UNITED PHANTOMS FALL 3-0 TO NEW YORK COSMOS B
Saturday’s game between the Seacoast United Phantoms and New York Cosmos B showed both teams intensity in what started off as a close game but ultimately ended in a 3-0 Cosmos win.
Kicking off at 3:00 pm at the Phantoms’ home field in Amesbury, MA, the game launched a doubleheader weekend for the Phantoms. Cosmos B scored early with a goal from forward Bljedi Bardic in the ninth minute of the match. The remainder of the first half the Phantoms kept the pressure on with chances from Brewster and Rizzy Misiri with shots going just wide. With the whistle blowing for halftime, the score remained 1-0 to the Cosmos.
In the second half, the Phantoms continued to search for a tying goal with chances again from Misiri but to no avail.
