FC Carolina United and Knoxville Force Finish in 1-1 Draw
FC Carolina started the game well and were in control for the first 20 minutes and had four clear-cut chances but were unable to convert them.
Knoxville Force came well into the game at this point and put some very good passing movements together and started to dominate the rest of the first half.
Knoxville then had a player sent off in the 29th minute. Despite this Knoxville still continued to dominate and created three chances before the halftime whistle.
In the second half Knoxville continued to keep a hold on the game despite only having ten men and were rewarded for their good play in the 70th minute with a well-taken goal.
FC Carolina then woke up and started to play and Junior Nyemb scored a great individual goal in the 85th minute.
FC Carolina kept pushing forward well into injury time, but could not get the winner because of great defending by Knoxville.
A 1-1 draw FC Carolina United were lucky to get the draw after a lacklustre display and Knoxville will go home disappointed that they did not secure a win on the road.
