
THE UNDEFEATED STREAK FOR FC ARIZONA CONTINUES WITH 4-1 WIN OVER CORINTHIANS USA
FC Arizona extended its undefeated streak to five matches following its 4-1 victory over Corinthians USA on Saturday night.
The victory is now the fourth in row for FC Arizona who are currently second in the Southwest Conference, two points behind Riverside Coras.
FC Arizona scored the opening goal just four minutes into the match on a Ignacio Coba free kick. Ten minutes after this, defender Mo Salama scored his first on the year when he headed a Paul LaMarca corner kick into the net.
In the 34th minute, Alejandro Aguilar scored his second goal in as many matches when he finished off a fantastic sequence from Kenny McAvoy.
FC Arizona’s impressive shutout streak (four matches) came to an end in the 85th minute when Corinthians USA found the back of the net. Having been spurred by the goal, FC Arizona bounced back and scored its fourth and final goal in the 89th minute when David Alton found the back of the net from a Manuel Rivera pass.
