Corinthians USA 1, Temecula FC 1

The visiting Temecula FC started off the match strong and spent most of the first 15 minutes in the Corinthians half before getting the opening goal from forward Jose Fred Mazariegos.

The goal came from some nice passing in the back between Steven Lamberta and Ambrose Lisowe before Lisowe played a simple ball into Ryan Brent at midfield.  Brent then played a 50-yard diagonal ball across the field, which Mazariegos finished with a volley from 20 yards. Much of the first half continued the same with Temecula FC dominating possession.

Some sloppy play in the back forced Temecula FC goalkeeper Oscar Sowell into a difficult situation fifteen minutes into the second half.  He should have cleared the ball the first time, but took a poor touch, which resulted in him coming under pressure and forcing a penalty kick for Corinthians USA.

The home side finished the penalty confidently and went on to have the better play for the next 20 minutes. Temecula FC came back strong in the last 10 minutes, but were unable to find the net with any of their chances.  The match finished in a 1-1 draw.
