The Chattanooga FC Matchday Experience

Attending a Chattanooga FC match is more than a game.  It is an experience, an opportunity to be part of the beautiful game in a very special way.

Hear what NPSL officials and teams have to say about #CFCvATL:

NPSL Managing Director Jef Thiffault

Today was a great day in Chattanooga FC’s history with another record crowd of over 12,000, and I’m grateful to have been a part of it.  Atlanta United FC demonstrated what a successful MLS team they are going to be with their outstanding traveling support. Congratulations to General Manager Sean McDaniel, Tim Kelly, and the rest of Chattanooga FC’s leadership for all that they have accomplished and for developing this relationship with Atlanta United FC.

Today’s game and the U.S. Men’s National Team international game last week showed that Chattanooga, Tennessee is a place where soccer is thriving.  Chattanooga FC has written a blueprint and executed that engagement over the years to deliver this world-renowned sport to a region that absolutely loves it.  Anyone wanting to learn how to successfully establish and grow a soccer team should study what Chattanooga FC has accomplished.

The National Premier Soccer League has provided Chattanooga FC a platform with a compelling regular season against conference rivals and a national playoff structure, and Chattanooga FC have truly hit the center of the bullseye.

Georgia Revolution FC General Manager Eric Morrison

Attending a Chattanooga FC game is the most exciting, fan centered event I’ve been to.  The fans are absolutely amazing and are what drives true grassroots soccer in the U.S. The atmosphere they created along with the Atlanta United fans is what soccer is about: comradery and unity for the love of the beautiful game.

Atlanta Silverbacks FC Managing Partner Alvin Glay

The atmosphere and energy in Chattanooga was electrifying. This shows that soccer is not only for big market cities. People love the sport and as long as you put the community first, they’ll come out and support. Chattanooga is a testament of that. Chattanooga represented the league well and this shows the quality of competition in the league.

Atlanta Silverbacks FC General Manager Phoday FD Dolleh

It was a fantastic representation of the NPSL. Hats off to my friends at Chattanooga. The football was quality; the team was well-organized for a team that is not even in preseason. And this was a top class Atlanta United team that is capable of dropping four goals on any MLS team.  I was very impressed to see the support from the NPSL staff.

Grand Rapids Football Club President Matt Roberts

The game and experience in Chattanooga was fantastic.  Not only was it a great day for Chattanooga FC and Atlanta United, it was another step forward for the NPSL and soccer at the lower levels.  I had a great time talking to supporters and front office members from both teams, and the atmosphere in the stadium was unreal.  Hats off to both organizations and the supporters’ groups for a creating a gameday experience that was second to none.

Kingston Stockade FC Chairman Dennis Crowley

It was my first time in Chattanooga and first time seeing Chattanooga FC.  Their crowds and supporters are legendary.  Their club is one of the reasons we decided to join the NPSL so it was amazing to get to see the whole experience in person.  Even with a loss, the afternoon did not disappoint and we left Tennessee even more inspired to see how we can evolve our gameday experience with Kingston Stockade FC to replicate the experience you can find in Chattanooga.
