
CORINTHIANS USA AND CITY OF ANGELS FC FINISH IN 2-2 DRAW
The match between Corinthians USA and City of Angels FC was a well-played battle between two strong Southwest Conference teams.
The first half began with both teams attacking strongly with great passing and shots on goal. Hugo Polanco was the first to strike for Corinthians in the 15th minute, scoring off a fast counter attack. The action continued with both sides pushing for another goal, but it was Corinthians that scored again in the 25th minute when midfielder Guilherme Andrade scored off a beautiful strike. Andrade is best known as the son of the current president of the Corinthians team in Brazil’s First Division. The first half would finish with the same 2-0 advantage to Corinthians.
The second half would be a showcase for City of Angels forward Byron Rivera, who scored a brace with goals in the 59th and 63rd minutes. He brought great aggressiveness and fitness to the pitch, leading his team to a 2-2 draw.
