Tulsa Athletics

 

Tulsa Athletics have risen to the top of the South Central Conference with an 11-1-0 record.  This is quite an accomplishment considered that the conference is large with 11 teams and the competition level is extremely high.

 

Offense: Tulsa has a high-powered attack that was responsible for 38 goals in the regular season.  Forward Dave Leung paces the attack with eight goals and four assists.

 

Defense: Left back Ricardio Morris and goalkeeper Michael Kluver lead the conference’s best defense, one that allowed only nine goals all season long.  Morris would make seven starts while Kluver compiled five clean sheets and a 1.00 GAA.

Liverpool Warriors

Liverpool are coming off a 2-0 win over Dallas City FC in the first round of the playoffs.  They finished the regular season with a 6-5-1 record, which put them in fifth place in the South Central.

Offense:  Midfielder David Balyeat is the team’s leading playmaker with nine goals and two assists.

Defense:  Center back Cody Ellis and goalkeeper Kyle Parks are the anchors of the Warriors defense.
