
FC HASENTAL FALLS AT HOME TO NORTH COUNTY BATTALION 4-3
FC Hasental opened up the scoring in the third minute of play on an Alberto Anguiano free kick that found the foot of center back Thomas Araujo for the 1-0 lead. NC Battalion answered on a back post cross that was tapped in to make it 1-1 in the seventh minute of play. FCH looked dangerous in the build-up, which resulted in an Artigliere strike to put FCH up 2-1 in the 14th minute of play. The best chance for Battalion came on a penalty kick that was saved by FCH keeper Alexis Garcia-Nunez.
The second half saw Garcia-Nunez come up with another penalty save in the 55th. NC Battalion scored on the ensuing corner leveling the score at 2-2 in the 55th minute. Tempers boiled over in the 62nd resulting in a red card to a NC Battalion player. With ten men and against the run of play, NC Battalion netted two goals to push the lead to 4-2 with four minutes to play. Artigliere then scored his second on the day, putting Hasental within a goal of earning a point. The fifth minute of stoppage time expired and the three points went to the visitors, NC Battalion.
FCH will be back in action when they take on undefeated Albion Pros, June 18, 7pm kickoff, at Mission Bay High School in San Diego.
