Birmingham Hammers and St. Vincent’s Health System Announce 2016 Partnership

The Birmingham Hammers and St. Vincent’s Health System are excited to announce that they are partnering once again in the 2016 season to promote physical activity and wellness for local families and professional athletes in the community.

For 117 years, St. Vincent’s Health System has been dedicated to improving the health and well-being of those they serve, including a strong commitment to wellness, active living and the treatment of sports injuries. From healing minor sprains to its state-of-the-art orthopedic and sports medicine surgery center, St. Vincent’s has a proven history of caring for athletes of all ages in Birmingham and surrounding areas.

The partnership between the Birmingham Hammers and St. Vincent’s creates an opportunity to encourage both the growth of sports organizations in our city, as well as increase awareness of both adult and youth athletic opportunities throughout our community.

“It is incredibly important to our organization that we establish long-lasting relationships with our corporate community,” said Hammers President and General Manager Morgan Copes. “We are delighted to be renewing our partnership with such a well-respected organization in the Birmingham community.”

The Birmingham Hammers will prominently display the St. Vincent’s Health System logo on the players’ training jerseys during their inaugural season in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL).  Training jerseys will be available for sale at matches, events, and the Hammers’ online store. The Hammers are set to play their first match of the season on Saturday, April 30th at 7:00 pm. For ticketing information and a full schedule, please visit www.birminghamhammers.com.
