The National Premier Soccer League is proud to announce that global sports brand PUMA has joined the league’s Preferred Vendor Program as the Preferred Cleat (2014) and Uniform Supplier (2014 and 2015).
“NPSL is excited to welcome global brand PUMA to the growing NPSL family of sponsors and partners, especially in a World Cup year where PUMA teams will be showcased on the world’s biggest stage,” NPSL Commissioner Michael Hitchcock remarked. “Through this partnership, over 80 NPSL teams and 2,000+ NPSL players will have a chance to wear the same gear and cleats as the world’s top players. PUMA shares the NPSL’s commitment to growing the sport of soccer in communities all over the United States.”
PUMA will be part of many aspects of the NPSL experience. The PUMA Golden Boot Award will become a prominent part of the league’s awards program, given to the NPSL’s top goal scorer. The PUMA Player of the Game will be awarded during all playoff matches, while the PUMA Power Rankings will replace the existing NPSL Top 20 Media Poll.
PUMA signage will be highly visible at playoff games in addition to promotion on postseason webcasts.
Member teams will also enjoy preferred pricing from one of the world’s top brands.
