New York Cosmos B Completes Perfect Regular Season

New York Cosmos B completed a perfect regular season on Saturday night at Commisso Stadium as the side took down Kingston Stockade FC, 4-0.

Cosmos B was powered by a hat trick from forward Bledi Bardic in the victory.

For the home side, the creativity started from the back to open the scoring. Defender Johnny Borrajo found Wojciech Wojcik from a deep cross to open the scoring in the 21st minute. Five minutes later, Borrajo was at it again down the right flank, this time serving up Bardic for his first goal of the contest.

New York tacked on a third goal just before the halftime whistle when Bardic slotted in bast the goalkeeper after a pass from Jalen Brown.

Cosmos B controlled the tempo for the majority of the second half as Bardic rounded out his hat trick in the 72nd minute after some great individual effort from second-half substitute Zaire Bartley.

The win was New York’s 10th in a row and the team will now host a playoff game on Wednesday, July 11, after earning the North Atlantic Conference regular season title.
