Temecula FC took all three points from last year's conference champions Albion PROS in a tight 1-0 win. Temecula FC started fast and physical from the start, putting the ball in behind Albion and creating a few chances right from the start. After 10 minutes Albion started to settle and grow into the match and hit the crossbar with a flowing move down the left. That proved to be the one and only effort from Albion in the first half as Temecula FC went down the field and Ryan Brent hit the back of the net from a long throw to end the half 1-0.
The second half started with Albion having most of the possession and starting to grow into the game and put pressure on Temecula FC's midfield and defense. Temecula FC made two subs very early on into the second half, which added some fresh legs and strength into the midfield, but soon after Albion started to turn the screws again and put Temecula under extreme pressure for the remaining 25 minutes of the match. Albion missed chance after chance to find the equalizer and Temecula FC saw the game out for the 1-0 win.
