Orange County FC’s Blake Frischknecht Named NPSL National Player of the Week

The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is proud to announce Orange County FC forward
Blake Frischknecht as the first NPSL National Player of the Week for the 2019 season.

“I’m happy to be here and to be a part of OCFC,” Frischknecht commented. “Thank you to the
staff and ownership for letting me help out. Hopefully we can keep up this momentum going into
the Open Cup game and the rest of the summer.”

Frischknecht tallied three goals and one assist in a 5-2 win over City of Angels FC on May 4th.

“Blake Frischknect was a huge addition to our OCFC roster,” Orange County FC head coach
Paul Caligiuri noted. “He is a perfect fit and had an immediate impact on the field. He is only
going to get better and better.”

The Las Vegas, NV native led Utah Valley University with six goals and 13 points in 2018,
playing in all 18 matches and starting 16. He was also named to the All-WAC Second Team and
the All-Far West Region Third Team in 2018.

The winner of this national honor is determined by a vote of media members from across the
country.
