Greater Lowell Rough Diamonds Goalkeeper Jackson Rivers Named NPSL National Player of the Week
The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is proud to announce Greater Lowell Rough
Diamonds goalkeeper Jackson Rivers as the second NPSL National Player of the Week for the
2019 season.
“We have a good group of kids we are going to continue to fight hard during our games and
hopefully our quality will start to come with it,” Rivers said.
Rivers posted 15 saves in a 1-1 draw with Kingston Stockade FC.
“We are very excited to have Jackson as a member of our team,” Greater Lowell Rough
Diamonds General Manager Cooper Hall added. “He is an extremely hard worker and expects
the most from himself and his team.”
The Epping, New Hampshire native attends Southern New Hampshire University and is
majoring in international business. Prior to attending SNHU, Rivers was a three-sport athlete at
Epping High School, playing soccer, basketball, and track for the Blue Devils.
The winner of this national honor is determined by a vote of media members from across the
