MORE GAMES, MORE NPSL ACTION
More and more teams entered league play this weekend as the number of games increased to seven.
New York Athletic Club defeated Greater Lowell United FC 3-0 in the Northeast Region. Midfielder and former MLS player Luke Sassano registered a goal and an assist with Bernardo Ulmo and Robert Cabrera each adding goals of their own. The play of Ciran McGuigan was impressive in the midfield, setting up several goalscoring opportunities for the home side.
SF Stompers FC continued their winning ways, slipping past Portland Spartans FC 4-3. Temecula FC found themselves at the wrong end of an 8-1 defeat at the hands of the San Diego Flash, who were led by three goals from striker Blake Milton.
The Spartans would get a 1-1 draw with the Sacramento Gold on Sunday in what was a very busy weekend for the Oregon side.
Deportivo Coras USA came away with a convincing 4-2 win over FC Force thanks to yet another impressive game from midfielder Mingyu Wee, who scored two goals for the home team. Sonoma County Sol won 7-1 against Real San Jose with three goals from Tyler Hurst leading the way.
